Yeah TknandLvnIt, you make a good point that I don't think I made clear in my post. If the relationship with your neighbor is unhealthy for you, Amanda, it's a different story. You mentioned that your neighbor had made positive changes, so that's why I don't know if it's absolutely necessary for you to end that friendship. To place boundaries on the relationship with your neighbor that keep you from being in a place where you feel uncomfortable does sound like something you've been working on and continue to work on. It's definitely something good to think about and consider.
