We didn't go to a movie for our first date (not really enough time to get to know each other during the date), but I think it was the 2nd or 3rd, we saw a comedy- I thought a romantic film would have been too awkward so I picked a comedy- he looked relieved with my choice anyways haha. And it gave us something to joke and talk about afterwards.

I would say comedy. However, I am so against going to movies on the first date. I would prefer to chat with and get to know the guy than watch a movie.sigpicComment
