My first boyfriend lived about 150km away from me. We dated for about 2 years.
My ex was from another part of Germany and we met while I was living in Poland for a year. We were long distance for about 5 months before we closed the distance and then we dated for another 1,5 years and eventually broke up.
So this is my 3rd long distance and my 3rd serious relationship. We're coming close to the 2-year-mark and I don't want to leave him - this is a first!
I guess I just love travelling and different-ness. I was never interested in the guys from my town/area and I've been wanting to have a foreign boyfriend ever since I can remember *shrug* I mean I don't chose my boyfriends based on their nationality, but it just always seemed soo much more exciting and interesting to me.

First and definitely last. I'm hoping that'll be because my SO and I will be together until the bitter end, but you can't guarantee anything in life and should I ever end up on the market again, I will actively steer clear of long distance. It's too hard and hurts too much.Comment
