Nicknames! xD Can be cute, funny or downright silly!

We usually call each other "hun," "hunny" or "babe." It actually sounds weird for me when I call him by his actual name. I don't say it very often when we're together. But he calls me "hunny bunny" when I'm upset and he's calming me down. It's a reference to the diner scene in Pulp Fiction when the husband calls the wife "hunny bunny" to calm her down while they're robbing the place.

He calls me cat, kitty, kitten, Princess (my name), Indiana Jones (since I'm a classics major, implying archaeology), silly cat (he even learned Cantonese and how to say that in Cantonese!)

I call him bear, Sir (his name), Vova (his diminutive in Russian), I call him Volodya in my head, haha

My name is Kevin an hers I Mariah so I call her riah or rooster (her dad called her rooster when she was younger) and she calls me kevcakes, which was ironically congured up by a guy in friends with haha

Well we call each other the usual babe and baby. We also came up with unique ones for each other as well. His name is Matthew and I call him Mattykins. I have nicknames for all my siblings and when we first started dating and I would talk to him about them I would use their nicknames. So he started complaining that I didn't have a special nickname for him. So I came up with Mattykins. He calls me Sanney because one of my little cousins couldn't say my name and that's what he called me. I told Matt about it and he thought it was cute so he started calling me it. At some point in our many odd conversations he called me Sannert and I copied him with Mattertkins. So now we call each other those as well. We are an odd couple.

We often make up silly names over texts that involve the word 'cake'. He also calls me 'shiny' in person a lot, because in the summers I do henna and a sparkly body art thing, so I'm usually covered in glitter, that he can apparently see over skype!

I call him Silly Goose and other little pet names but Silly Goose is the main one. I called him it in the beginning when we met and it just stuck since he said no one ever called him that before.
He'll typically use the standard ones though.

Like many others we call each other the traditional honey and baby. But she calls me sugar pie, and I call her honey bunch. Needless to say "Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch" is each others ringtone.

Pet names. cx At first me and my SO had a very clear conversation against pet names. We agreed that they are only for people in relationships that mean nothing to them, so they call their other 'baby' because they don't even know thei name.

I have only ever been okay with the name love, as it is a casual and touching way of getting the point across that our relationship is strong and we dp love eachother.
I have actually picked up dear, sweetie, and sweetheart from him lol But I also call a lot of my friends that. I often refer to those close to me as my child or just child, even my own mother as well as my SO, just because I always act like a motherly person to my friends. lol Although it amuses him to no end, he even tries to argue sometimes that he cant ever be MY child, but my logic over rules his in that situation every time.

He has taken to calling me kitten, though. And this I am okay with. c: Not only do I love cats, I have three of my own that I adore, I draw them very often, and my friends have always told me I act like one, and he knows all of this. So there is meaning behind that and I honestly adore it when he calls me that. Makes me blush so hard and smile like a fool! Haha

But my favorite pet name he gave me, is my own name.
You see, my SO has flawlessly romantic veiws on this. He beleives that, if he ever cared for someone enough to use an actual pet name, he would have to love them quite a lot. Therefore, just their name would hold enough meaning to be a sweet nickname in itself.
So everytime he says my name with his sexy voice with his accent, of course I blush like mad!

When we first started the relationship, she keeps saying 'mumu' (like moo-moo) and then called me Mu kinda weird but it sounds cute anyway
and then she sent me a picture said "when I hear lmao I imagine a French cat saying 'le mow'" and she really liked it and I started calling her Mow (and she loves cats )
