I agree with most everyone here, but I know if my bf wanted to live with female roomates I would probably be very much like your boyfriend. LDR brings out insecurities we didn't know we had, especially the ones that are unfounded and ridiculous. I would try to empathisize with your bf, let him know you see his point of view. You don't have to agree or give up your roomates but he might appreciate you recognizing how he feels. Flexibility in LDR is soo important but we can't expect ourselves to always act rationally. Its the understanding of each other, not so much the final decision, that helps make the distance less difficult.
