The Moment You First Met

My SO and I met in person first and were a CDR for 2 years and just recently went long distance when I left for school. So there are not really any pictures. However, I am glad to see you and your SO together and happy.

Awww what an adorable couple!!
My SO and I started as CD, however I do have pictures of us when I went to pick him up at the airport on his first visit after becoming LD. - I brought a girl friend of mine with me to take pictures of the moment-... so idk if that counts.
But again, congratulations.. you guys make a cute couple!!

We don't have pics from the airport either. I got there just in the nick of time, but his flight was about 15 minutes late so I was standing there kind of hyperventilating. I must've looked so pale and dazed a random woman walked up to me and asked me if I was feeling OK. I couldn't even say anything, I just nodded. Then he came out a few minutes later. I kept my eye on the wrong exit lol, so he startled me a bit when he suddenly appeared next to me. He stood before me and smiled and had a piece of paper saying: "Hi! <3"

I just threw myself around his neck. (I was basically unable to talk for the next half an hour or so.) Anyway, I mumbled something about going to get the car and whether he wants to wait or come with me. He said he was coming with me and as we walked to the exit he held my hand. And I had this widest grin on my face, I felt like an Olympic winner lol

Aww thats so sweet!! I love hearing stories like this =) I remember he texted me when he landed and I couldnt stop saying "omg mom im nervous, omg, omg, do i look ok?" haha and then when i saw him it was like AHHHHHH!!!!!! =)))))))

I don't have any pictures from when I got there, seeing as he met me at the airport and we had no one to capture the moment - not to mention we were both such a bundle of nerves that a photo op didn't even cross our minds at the time! The boy was pretty well tongue-tied and me, well, I overcompensated by chit-chattering his ears off. :P

I have album on here so i wont re-post a bunch, but here's a pic from our very first moment together. First hug. So in the end im happy my mom came with me, she was able to capture that for me.


lol i remember after this, we sat at a table me and my mom, while he used the phone. and i was like he looks the same! haha i was all happy and he had such a strong hug, like solid? lol i feelt so secure. that days forever in my memory.

I only have 2 pictures of us, our 1st meeting was about 10 hours as friend.
I can't wait for next meeting next year now as couples!

I don't have a photo of us, but I have this one which is about 10 seconds before he showed up! I was standing there and I just couldn't believe I was actually there so had to preserve the moment I saw definite truth I had made it, haha.

I don't have photos of us either, but we actually met on a railway station in Glasgow, Scotland. I had gone there to see her, I was freaking out, and she called me to make sure where I was... I told her I was in front of Starbucks and probably a minute or two again she just appeared behind me all smiling and happy and going "hi!" I had expected her not to appear behind my back and I was quite overwhelmed and to be honest, panicking, heh. I had so many thoughts running through my brain that moment... But it was great!

We started out CD. I'm kinda glad there are no pictures of our first meeting. lol. I was a mess, it was alundry day and I was in sweats, the guy I was trying to be with before I met my current SO had just turned out to be a jerk so I was a little depressed. I was a straight up bitch to my SO, it was just all around a bad day. I'm surprised my SO even liked me as much as he says he did after that first meeting. Apparently he knew I was a good person, just having a bad time when I said, "K" when he asked me to pass him something. Go figure.

I have two snaps of the night we met for the first time, but neither turned out (blurry and odd). And they are also with his wife, as he was married and we were just friends the first time we met, heh.

I do kick myself that I didn't get any photos of us together from our last visit. I got some beautiful shots of the sunrise from his garden, but not shots of us. Silly people we are. Well, he'll be here in 4 weeks, I won't make that mistake again.

Thats really cute! We met in person before we went long distance. I have a photo of him from the night we met but not together and one from the next night together.

We don't have a picture from the first moment we met (no one to take the picture), but I remember it pretty good in my mind, and it was so amazing and I love viewing everyone's pictures in this thread because they remind me so much of when I first met my SO (and also when I went there for the second time haha). I remember it so much, that amazing feeling of finally meeting the guy I'd been talking to for over a year online.
