    Surprising him next weekend

    Hello All,

I'm rather new here.. I'm planning on surprising him next weekend. He doesn't know I"m coming... I"m trying to decide on how to surprise him once I'm there... I figured I'd just show up at his house...

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated :-)

gargh I would love to do a surprise vist! bit hard being a international LD/me being horrible at keeping secrets.

If you surprise him at home why don't you call him before and chat and then knock on the door? I would LOVE it if my SO did that.

Or you could somehow get into his house while he is out and surprise him..endless possibilities!

I"m terrible at keeping secrets from him too, only cause I LOVE his reaction! This has been hard not to say anything, but I want to see the look on his face lol... :-)

You could always tape a note on the door with a little clue to lead him to the next one. Something like: "Go to the place where you park your car (the garage) to find the next clue, and it may reveal where I'm waiting for you. Signed, -your initial here-" And the garage door clue could be something like: "Wanted to surprise you at the end of your week, so go round your house, and you'll find what you seek!" and you could be hiding round the side of the house with a little love note or a special surprise or something. :P

I'm a dork, but I tend to love doing/being on the receiving end of things like that. I like it because even though you miss the initial reaction, it builds excitement/anticipation.

That's true. I'm sure whatever you do, he'll think it's absolutely perfect and love it regardless.

This made be complicated but, I did this once with an ex, if they don't have a locked internet, log on Skype (if you use it) and Skype from right outside their house. It's the most confusing and funny reaction you will probably ever get Good luck and welcome to LFAD!

Wow, I know this sounds crazy, but I am also new here, and I'm surprising my boyfriend this week. Thursday actually.
                            Here's what I'm doing:
I live in WV, he lives in Chicago, IL and goes to school there. So, I talked to some of his friends and they're gonna help me surprise him after his last class of the day. I'm basically going to walk into the percussion studio (he's a music major) and wait for him to notice that I'm there. Haha I'm so excited!
You could do something like that too, or you could try to set up a way to get him to go to a certain restaurant and then show up. I really like Eclaire's note idea. My boyfriend would catch on too quickly, and I just want it to be a total "WA-BAM I'M HERE WHAT'S UP" kind of deal. Haha. But I'm sure whatever you decide to do, it's going to be great and he'll love it!
Keep us all updated, and if you're down for some brainstorming, don't be afraid to ask! I love planning these kinds of things.

Awesome!!!! I wish you the best of luck!

I'm always open for brainstorming lol :-) :-) :-) I'm thinking about maybe leading a trail of candy to his room...then having the stuffed tiger outside of his door, then when he opens it, I'll be waiting....
