The last time I sent my SO a care package, I sprayed my perfume on an item of clothing and zip-locked it. I also put the perfume bottle with a bit of my perfume left in it (it didn't get seized by customs). He said when he opened it the perfume had leaked everywhere, but it still smelled like me for a long time after.
