I'm new here, I'm from near Bristol UK and my SO is from Detroit, MI. Its so comforting to see others going through this situation as alot of people don't understand LDRs! Can anyone tell me if the waiting gets easier as each visit goes by? This time I have to wait 5 months to see my SO I'm 2 weeks in hating it already, can anyone offer any advice on making the waiting easier or anything they've found that helps?

However, from since i left him until he comes here in December is 6 months. the first 2 months was okish .. 3rd month SUCKED!!!!! i was so emotionally broken throughout the third month. But the 4th month (current month) it has been easy not saying i dont miss him because i do but its been easy to cope with! I have strange feeling that the 5 and the last weeks leading to the visit are going to be a big drop .. But stay strong i woudnt say it gets easier but you get into a pattern i think! you just need to ride the waves
