You can still bleed regularly even when pregnant. It happened to my sister recently (unfortunately for her, her boyfriend made her abort twins because he wasn't ready but that's a different topic). Like Snow said, you need to get it checked out at your GP or local doctor's practice. There's no point second guessing if you're pregnant, you need a clear answer and only a doctor can really help you confirm it (unless you randomly pop a baby out without any signs of showing it like in those freaky tv shows about them xD)

lol Jane. so I should be going to my general doc for a blood test 1st? Tho i dont know what to say. Just say the situation? Because I know at gyn I'll have to wait like 3 weeks to get appointment.

And I do hope it's nothing because we couldn't keep it...

I had my period end 3 days ago and it lasted 5 days so I'm not sure if I could get period and still be pregnant?

However, I told this to my SO and he's worried I may have something else and wants me to go to doctor. But I don't wanna freak out yet, because what are the chances if I had my period? I want to wait 3 weeks more for my next period, but we will see.

I think the chances of me getting pregnant cant be high, because we experimented without only 2 times when i was on my period, 1st or second day of it, and even so it would be a pre-ejaculate so I dont think I can be pregnant?
I had this EXACT thing happen to me the first time my SO visited. I had also taken a test so pregnancy was ruled out pretty quickly. I felt sick for days, even weeks, and finally went to see a doctor. I think I just had indigestion issues or something of the sort and he ended up prescribing me something that I didn't get filled.

Frankly the lack of knowledge about sex and pregnancy I see on this forum is appalling. Why on earth do so many people have sex when they don't understand how it works? You all obviously have the internet - go to a reputable website and learn about your body. It isn't rocket science.

The likelihood of you being pregnant in the situation you described, innocentbutterfly, is so slim I'd put money on you not being pregnant. With that said, a blood test is a sure way to know. Or another pee-on-a-stick test would do the trick. In the event your first test was a false negative due to your hormones being too low, having waited a couple of weeks to try again would give you a much clearer reading in the event you were pregnant.

Just so you know, even if you have sex right when you ovulate and the sperm and the egg meet in their happy dance it still takes several days for them (now a blastocyst) to move from your fallopian tube and implant in your uterus. If you test before the blastocyst implants you will get a negative result. There is such a thing as testing too soon.

But really? If you don't want to have a baby, and you don't want to stress yourself out needlessly, use fucking condoms! Dear lord. Abortion is not a form of contraception. If you're not ready to create new life don't play with fire. Now, disclaimer, I don't have an issue with other people getting abortions. This isn't me getting all pro-life, this is me being all pro-common-sense. An abortion isn't just this wonderful solution to your problems, like any medical procedure it can have serious side effects.

If you are so afraid of getting pregnant that you manage to give yourself psychosomatic symptoms, do not have sex. Period (pun intended). If getting pregnant would be that devastating to your life, the only way to allay your fear is to just keep your pants on. Repeated abortions is terrible for your reproductive system, and can have serious, long-term affects, and I'm 100% pro-choice! I'm also pro-sex, but until you've educated yourself, and are prepared to deal with the consequences, quit having sex! C'mon people, it's 2014 and you obviously all have the freakin' internet, there are no excuses these days. Like Zeph said, it ain't rocket science.

innocentbutterfly, for godssakes, you aren't pregnant.

Feeling like you don't want to eat after a visit is most likely post -visit blues, not pregnancy. If you are afraid of getting pregnant, you might benifit from using a form of birth control that is stable and very unlikely to get you pregnant, like shots (4 times a year), the arm implantat (will keep you unpregnant for 3 years) or IUD (can be used for 5 years).

I've had a couple of "scares" which were all mostly just occasions where I was being paranoid :P I take the pill, and on a couple of occasions, I took it half a day late and of course it would always be on a day where we had sex. So of course I was paranoid, and would swear that I was feeling nauseated etc etc. I took tests just to ease my mind, I knew it was stupid, but I couldn't stop being paranoid about it without taking a test just in case. But in my opinion, if at any time you think you could be pregnant, you should always test, just to be sure.

Blood tests are more sensitive and can be used a few days prior to period as well as after your period was due.

Guys i did ovulation test today. I read they can detect pregnancy too. Though i dont know what to make out of it. Control and test line are both a bit faint but test line is more faint that control but just enough to be visible. And things down there seem to be whitey/transparent stretchy a bit.

So what do i make out of this lines? Would there be no second line if i was pregnant or.vice versa?

You would be better off taking a proper pregnancy test, either through the doctor or the new home tests where the word "pregnant" will appear if you are pregnant: https://americanpregnancy.org/gettin...ancytests.html

                                To posters earlier.

We used protection. Condoms. All time except those two times because most of time we both cant feel enough...we tried a few variants of condoms and all gavr us long and fake feeling...or it took too long...then we just ended up stopping or tried but it took so long.

I.ate birth control.for 3 weeks. 2 different brands and they gave me bad nervousness and anxiety. So i stopped a week after being together.

Ill look another form of contraception, but we got hard gyns. They dont want to just change contraception and make you test it for 3 months saying endure, but i couldnt. And i fear blood clots with pills.

So if i take a patch or shot. Will they be less risky in terms of clots and those pulmonary embolisms? Also to not give me anxiety
