It seems you are right on this; some countries including Slovenia are exepted from applying for visa: https://www.konsolosluk.gov.tr/si/en/Vize.aspx My mistake!

By the way, here is some info about recidency visa https://www.konsolosluk.gov.tr/si/en...e_Permits.aspx

    and work visa: https://www.konsolosluk.gov.tr/si/en...d_permits.aspx

I made love to him only twice, she thought and looked at the man laying asleep beside her. And yet still it is as if we have been together forever, as if he has always known my life, my soul, my body, my light, my pain

Thank a lot. I'll be looking into it. We are looking into all options now. Some state you dont need some special requirements for one year temporary residence. They say photos, documents and a statement that ur reveiving at least $300 monthly. So we dont know for sure.

By the way, our embassy is kinda useless to explain me this.

How is with this 90 days stay in 6 months. Does it mean 90 days in 6 months from day one when you travelled and when you come back meaning when you come back you have to stay out full 6 months before going in again or is its 90 days in the country plus 90 out totaling 6 months and you can go again?

Btw differentcountries I see your visits are every month. That's amazing. I'm thinking how can you afford that time/financially wise. I'm happy for you. I just wish we could do it too

I guess you will need a work contract that stipulate your pay, and it is very important you contact the police within the first month.

The rule means 90 days in the country, 90 days out.

Thanks. My bosses are very generous by allowing me one week off a month as my "writing week ". I bring my studies to him. The tickets are not that expensive since I fly Saturday to Saturday and I prioritize my travels over anything else.

Meaning if i dont find work in the first month of my stay ill not be able to request for visa?

Okay so i got it right. 90 days in and after im out 90 days it totals to 6 months and i can travel again. But what if i already used 2 weeks of that 90 days 1 month earlier then i used the rest of days a month after that it means my 2 weeks will be 'released' one month earlier than the rest before i can travel again for 90?

Your tourist stay has nothing to do with work visa. You can stay as a tourist uptil 90 days.

I don't think you can apply for a work visa while staying as a tourist in Turkey. Of course you can search for jobs and such, and indeed that is the easiest if you can bring with you a job offer, but you should only apply for a work visa once you get back to your home country. Then - once you have received your work visa and bring it with you on your travel to Turkey, you will have to register with the police upon your arrivel - as soon as possable, and maximum within 30 days.

If you travel as a tourist for 2 weeks, then wait a month, you have used 14 days over a 45 period time. When you travel again, there is 135 days left of your tourist period and during that time you can stay for 75 days. If you stay 75 days , you will then have to stay out 60 days before coming back.

I got it, I did read that you have to apply in your home counry, so even if I do find work I have to go home 1st then apply then come back. Thanks for confirming this info.

If I understood this right, it means both visits are counted and this 2 weeks stays minuses the 90 days out after staying 75 days. Okay thanks for clearing that up But if I'm ever confused how do I check when can I enter again, where should I contact?

Thanks for the link. The e-cosulate thingy seems to be giving a runtime error, so I might try again later. Thanks for all your help
