I didn't get any responses to my initial thread - but I had 20 views. - so assuming someone read my story I have 2 follow up questions for the group.
1: what do you send him (small) for Christmas. 'The soldier who has everything' - and doesn't eat sweets.
2: what do you think of a 40 year old soldier who has never been in a relationship with a woman over 25? Is there any stigma attached to that in the military community? My guess is that is the age group he is exposed to the most - as opposed to a man who has had a civilian life. (He does look younger)
Things are going well still. We have a date set to meet and a rendezvous point chosen. Looking at flights!!!!
