If you have the new iPods Facetime is AWESOME!!! The quality isn't always the best but it allows both parties to see each-other and snap quick pictures of each-other.

I use SocialEyes for video chat theres nothing to download it's connected to my Facebook so it's convenient and the picture and sound is better than any other video chat I've used. Check it out

Skype Until very recently we couldn't text each other, so we've just gotten used to iming on skype instead!

We text, or at least I do! .... I'm lucky if I recieve one text a day from him We Skype most nights, as long as his computer is working. But my latest most fave techy device is our matching Samsung phones where we can do video calls! I love it!!!

We use phonecalls (even if it's just 2 or 3 minutes per call) and chatting. Sometimes we send text messages too. For chatting with/without cam we always use Yahoo Messenger. It's like when we log on we always use YM. After that, if the connection in both sides is good enough, we switch to Oovoo. For us, it's kinda better than Skype with better voice quality and the cam quality is more fluid. If the connection is not good enough for cam, we sometimes Google Talk for talking. In the past we used to use Skype a lot as well. So YM, Skype, GTalk, Oovoo...anything that enables us to chat, talk and see each other.

Skype is our lifeline! He now has a skype mobile, so we talk even when he's out and about. He hates being stuck to his computer so hurray for that!
