Not sure if anyone's suggested this - the closest thread I found was about leaving little messages/recordings online or that they had on their phones! - but has anyone considered pulling those recordings into iTunes and throwing them on their iPods?
My SO is a musician, so I have a few little recordings on my computer (he doesn't record too often) of him singing/playing music. I converted the ones that weren't iTunes compatible files into Mp3's (one was even something he'd uploaded via tinypic, which I downloaded/converted using Zamzar) and put them on my iPod and fell asleep to them last night, and I'm considering asking him to record himself reading a story for me so I can have that as well. But I figured having a voice recording on your iPod, Mp3 player, etc. was a good idea simply because it's something you can carry with you and there's no chance of it ever being erased until you decide to erase it, assuming you don't murder your music player. :P And if you're like me, it's good to have during the nighttime.
