Sooo my SO and I were talking last night, and he was saying how frustrated he was when he found out my favourite flowers were bluebells, but they don't have them in the US- they're an English wild flower. I think there are some similar called the California bluebell in the US but they are not the same at all. I had the idea of buying some seeds over here in England, so I could have a planter of them on our balcony every spring, but I can't figure out if they are a prohibited agricultural item or not, because I do intend to grow them... I don't know if I can just bring them and declare them at customs, or if I need an actual permit to bring them in.
Has anyone who has traveled in and out the US taken seeds with them before. I didn't want to risk it this trip when I'm on the K1 visa, I thought I might ask the guys at border control if they knew the regulations, so I knew for next time?
