Yeah I'd rather not have that long a wait lol, but a lot of the flights ive found have had that long a wait. I've seen a few with 2 hour waits, but tbh Id rather add an hour on top of that just incase of delays/queues/whatever.

The plane ticket I bought from Los Angeles to Portland three days ago was $157. It usually isn't that expensive because its kind of close.
The first time I went to Portland-in september-I bought it at $226.

It cost me about 1200 to fly to Australia this last time and it was about the same for him when he visited me in May. Now we're looking into when I move there and him possibly coming here to escort me over and wow are the prices ever higher in January! My one-way would cost me as much as my previous round-trip ticket and his round-trip would be about 2,000. eeekkk.

        Met online: 1/30/11
        Met in person: 5/30/12
        Second visit: 9/12/12
        Closed the distance: 1/26/13!!!

Yeah ive seen that a few times, the cost of a single is no less really than a return! I think it's cause if for whatever reason they need to return you back home, the obliged to and they dont wanna pay for it so they cover themselves.

Last time I hit border control in the States it took nearly an hour to get to me with about 8 people infront of me, and they spent about 20 mins questioning me, so I am not totally sure if that is normal or not.

                    1000$ or more
thats horrible because we are both still students.
He'll be here for a few weeks this summer and then we're not going to see eachother for at least a year.
I soooo miss the first 7 months when we would see eachother every day allmost allday

A good website to check out is AirFare WatchDog if you're looking for a cheap flight.
They look through whatever websites and airlines you want..and they can also send you emails!
In my last LDR, I went from BC to Alberta, and it was aroun $428 round trip (1 1/2 flight, 12 hours driving.)

Skyscanner app for my samsung phone gave me 653 euro for the cheapest flight for next week. The ones I usually see are over 800 euro. That would be Germany to Texas. The app gives you the currency in dollar too if you want
