Because I am an absolute idiot. I was nervous he had lost some feeling for me since he didn't seem as jumping-for-joy excited over text. I should have gotten there sooner (traffic was awful and I couldn't get on the highway I needed!) and I even stalled for like 20 minutes, so I wasted precious time.
