The pre-visit crazies

This will be the first time that I'm going out to visit when he will actually be meeting me at the airport - my last visit, I still wasn't sure about our relationship so I told him not to come and meet me and had a hotel room to myself for the night (I also didn't really want him to see me in my post-flight dishevelled jet-lag state).

This time I bet I'll be feeling the impatience trying to get off the plane. This time, we're both staying at the hotel for the night!

In my last relationship getting to him was 2 hours away so there was not really much planning needed - I drove out for the weekend - no pre-visit crazies..

But now it's 2 more weeks until I see my boyfriend and I am going craaaazy!! I am sooo nervous and I think of all the things I have to do and get!!!

I totally get the crazies. The week before seems to be the worst.

It seems to start when I confirm with her that the dates are okay, and when I book the ticket. Part of me wants to start a count down and the other part knows better. So I try not to start a count down.

Then, after it closes in that the ETA is less than a month, that part of me kicks in that wants to count down the days. I try to make myself busy. Sometimes I stay super-focused on wanting to see her despite the busy-ness.
