Have a safe trip and a wonderful time together

I've been in Japan for 6 months and still only went with 15 kg of luggage (of course going home it was heavier). The rule about only bringing clothes for one week - no matter how long you're going is the best
I've rarely heard of companies that allows more than 30 kg - most only allow 20 kg.I thought of you and the years and all the sadness fell away from me - Pink Floyd

It does sound odd, but I think lovefrom2800milesaway made a small confusion of kilograms and pounds. 50 lbs = 23 kilos. And yeah, it's always been 23 kg limit for me when I travel, but there are companies that allow 30.

Everything is going great!!! Have been having so much fun and everything just seems so perfect. We have spent hours cuddling and kissing and just being in each other's arms. The flights were incredibly long, but no delays! In fact, my flight was half hour early. But by the time I hurried swapped into my thermals in the bathroom and joined the last of the queue to get through the passport check, it was another half hour wait. Then I came out to find my bag and had a text from my SO telling me where he was waiting for me, and of course when I find the signs leading me to him I start getting nervous and walking faster. As I turn the corner I see this guy that looks kinda familiar, with his phone out filming me walking up - it's my SO's brother! xD Then I saw my SO and yeah. Big, big cuddles Has continued to be awesome since then. We didn't get home until late that night (after experiencing my first snowfall at the train station) and crashed on his bed. xD
His family have all been very warm and welcoming, and the weather has been quite cold, although he disagrees! Have so far built a snowman (which he claims I killed) and had a snowball fight, and explored his town and stuff. It's very pretty. Think I'm still recovering from a bit of jet lag though! Most disappointing thing so far is that the snow started to melt yesterday There's almost nothing left! Though my SO has had snow every Christmas for the last 22 years and everyone keeps assuring me it'll come back, I'm worried it'll be their first year without snow!!! xD I didn't come over for 3 days of snow! xD (Okay so I came for my SO, the snow was an added bonus xD But we need to make another snowman! And have a snowball fight with his sisters xD). Looking forward to the large amount of time together ahead of us, and don't plan to waste a minute of it! Loving him with all my heart.
From Kylie (Sorry if we double up on information in our posts here, we're both making separate posts and so we don't know what the other's writing xD)

We're both typing out replies to this thread at the same time, both on my account but me on her iPad and her on my computer, so we'll see who finishes first. She's got a ,to of head start though.
anyway, things are going great I don't really know what more to say xD
Its awesome bebig with the girl I love, and I think I'm falling in love with her all over again. Just the physical bit,the hugs and kisses, add so much that you can't have over Skype. (She just finished the message and is choosing pictures to post. Guess I lost).
also, being able to sing our favourite songs together without the singing lagging behind for one of us. That's another thing we've been looking forward to.
i think her message is much more thorough, but I just want to say that we're having a great time together and I couldn't be happier with the way things are turning out.its a truly magical experience.

Really happy to see this, Kylie and Johan! I'm a lurker around here but I have followed this post from the start.
Glad you got there safely and even happier that it's all going well! As others have said, you both look very happy together.
Enjoy the rest of your time together.

Thanks all, and thanks TheBoss for coming out of lurking to comment Do stick around and introduce yourself!
Things are still going great. We have just finished celebrating Christmas all day with a bunch of family and relatives. I survived despite the GREEN Christmas I told everyone I was going to be having a white one! Do hope the snow comes back in the next week and that it stays cold enough to remain for my next 3 weeks. I can't stop complaining about that, poor SO has to put up with me, but it'll give me another excuse to visit next Christmas if I don't get much more, right? Very much enjoyed the Swedish traditions, including watching Donald Duck and watching Santa come out to give gifts to all the kids.
The kisses and the cuddles are so nice, not to mention the falling asleep together wrapped in each others arms. We've had a few petty sarcastic/funny fights, like last night I made a huge deal about him drinking Coke just before bedtime and refused to kiss him and started throwing away his pillows and stuff, but it's too hard to resist him for long ...even after he's eaten liquorice which I hate. XD Last night we made Rocky Road together (a chewy chocolate slice with marshmallow, jelly lollies and biscuits though can use peanuts) and my Mum's recipe for an Australian Tropical Christmas Ice Cream Pudding which was fun And we've been shopping and swimming and had LOTR marathons before having our first dinner date and seeing The Hobbit
More photos will come soon. We'll be heading back to Stockholm on the 28th so hopefully should be more things to see and do there!
