How long to wait before meeting?

If all goes well, I will go to visit her in october, so it will be 10 months after our relationship begun.
It will be our first meeting in face to face and I am already stressed about the trip, going alone in an unknown country to meet the one I love but never touched, never kissed, ...
Will it be as good as we think ? Will she find me as handsome as in picture or in the cam ? Will I find her as pretty as I actually do ? ...

I knew my SO for about two years before we got into a(n unofficial) relationship. We will be meeting in a month and making it official. We've been waiting 2.5 years to meet as friends, and 8 months as lovers. But if we could have we were going to meet only three months into our (unofficial) relationship, in February. But still. I guess it's a bit different.

Go for it!! We met about 7 month after we met on-line. We had said our "I love you" before we met and made it official before our actual meet. Before that we only had Skype, messaging and phone calls. Now we are able to meet about twice a year due to finance. If everything goes as planned we will be closing the distance by next year.

We had planned for him to come here in April already back when we were just friends - There was a meetup from our online community I was going to attend, and he wanted to combine visiting me with tagging along to the meetup. It wasn't until 2 weeks before the visit that we became official as a couple.

We met online in February 2012 and then we met for the first time in December 2012. He had said "I love you" in August that year. We cannot be official yet because of the circumstances and it's driving me nuts sometimes.

I recommend go meet each other, if you get along so well online of course you will offline, too! Our first date was amazing. He was everything I knew he is and so much more!

We started talking in January and talked more and more until we started dating in March and then I went over to see her at the end of May, so we'd been dating 2 months before meeting and known each other for 5. I feel really fortunate that we're both in situations where we could see each other that soon, I think money and time can definitely play a big part in it. If you're ready then go for it!

We too have already said our 'i love you''s several times online, every single day infact and have made our plans and are meeting in october only 3 months to go, and i really really cant wait the last 14 months have been an emotional rollercoaster, now is the time to go meet my man and be happy. very excited

Everyone's relationship is different. It took me and my SO a year and a half after we started talking to start a relationship as we wanted to make sure we had a solid friendship. Then a year after becoming official we met face to face for the first time ever due to his work / insufficient funds. So don't worry, you're not the odd one out

I met my SO in person and we started dating for a few days, but the time after that was difficult because none of us had any money and I was unemployed but expect to work on short notice. Then I got my fiances together and more or less just jumped on a plane to see him. Even though we had met, it was really online that I had fallen in lovewith him. Seeing him "without screen " for the first visit was really surreal. But so good.

We didn't officially start dating until we actually met, and I think it was better that way. We decided we'd give the relationship a try about... 9 months after he first expressed interest in dating me (I was quite surprised). But that was only because I knew I had the opportunity to fly over there and go on a first date with him in person.

It took 4 months for us to meet. We met in the August and met in person in the December My SO used to live in Canada with me in the UK too!

We did everything kind of fast, since we're not that far from each other. We met online/started talking on Thanksgiving (US) in 2012, then like a week later we met in person. Then, 3 weeks later we became an official couple.
