I would move to him. I'm a early childhood teacher and it's somewhat easier for me to find jobs. Also, he moved away to take a job offer. Now it's more a matter of when I will be moving, not if I will be moving.

I'll be moving to him. My grad. program will be done (assuming I graduate in a year) and he will still have another four years left. I am planning on applying for the ph.d program at his school and only his school. If I don't get in I can work and try again later or never go (cause its a lot of work) and I love what I am doing without a ph.d. I feel lucky in that I am not grounded so much to where I am now, I have a job but it ends when school ends, and all my friends will be moving back to where they want to live, and family is not here, so leaving won't be too hard.

My SO and I are both moving although his move is farther than mine, but that's the deal, he gets to pick the place and I will still be somewhat closer to my friends than if I moved to him. So I'm happy with the decision. ^^

We've discussed this a bit and it either will be me who will move to him or we'll both be moving somewhere else. Decision is based on him being able to make a better career in Germany or whatever other country he choses than in Latvia, I'm more flexible in this area. And as long as we're together, I don't really care where we'll end up.
Though I think I prefer to just move to him, cause otherwise learning German right now is almost useless

He will be the one moving to me. That decision was made because he is unhappy living there. Everything is cheaper here, and he really has no family or friends holding him there. (Just not ones he really cares to hold onto.) He has had a desire for adventure, for something new, long before meeting me so it works out for him.
However! I do not want to stay here the rest of my life, so right now our plan is to live together here until we can gather enough money to move together to CA. That way we will both be in a new environment together. I sort of wish we could do that right off the bat, because it is most certainly a HUGE change for him to up and move here. But, we will have to make due for now.

In your relationship, who would be the one to move?
I wanna study abroad there so, i'd move first, afterwards i think it could go either way
Why?
australia is pretty amazing, and i've found it fascinating since birth XD
Do you feel there is an expectation or pressure for one of you to move over the other?
i feel like its more my mom doesn't want me to go, ever, anywhere, however, from eachother it seems more of a we'll figure something out when its reasonable to think about so whatever works

I'm moving there for school (hopefully) in a month, but there wasn't any expectations. Our initial plan was him coming here for a couple of months and then traveling together for 1.5 years. Neither of us mind being far away from our families, so we could move anywhere in the future. (:

This is a very scary topic for me. When we met he expressed an excited desire to move to the states, and even comming here to visit said he felt an instant fit with my home and family and friends in just 2 weeks, more right than he does in Wales. But...with current events as they are, the poor US economy, corrupt politics, etc...hes not so excited about the idea of moving here anymore. Hes particularly sickened by our mockery and street celebrations over Bin Laden. He says we'd have a better life there (hes right, financially), and that now the only thing good about the US is me. Emigrating os getting more and more difficult too. On my side of the coin, even though Im going to be a teacher, professionally, im going into a field which limits my location significantly (ag teachers can only teach in ag/votech centers as ts a content area not needed in most schools...) He doesnt understand that I wouldnt be qualififed to teach anything anywhere...not only that ag is what i LOVE and they just dont do it there in schools...not to mention I VERY close to my family...
weve talked about both moving so Im out of my small town and we're closer to Boston. He has a degree in forensics and wants a lab job. Id be willing. Lets just hope the US turns around so he can be happy here with me...hes promised to move in 2013, but I dont want him to struggle n be unhappy/resent me so were seeing how things go for now

Looks like we would both be moving...we are contemplating getting married before he deploys and while he's gone I will most likely get new orders. and if we are in the MACP (Married Army couples program) they will do their best to make sure we are together...so yea our order is a little backwards :P" Love don't run....Love don't hide...Love don't turn away or back down from a fight.
Baby I'm right here..and I and going anywhere"

He and I will both be moving. First I'm moving to Scotland, then he's moving there, then we're both moving to Vancouver!
I think I'd have a bit of an issue if he was wanting me to move and not making it seem as though he'd be willing. But as soon as I mentioned I'd had an interview at a school I want to attend in Vancouver, he said "I want to live there!" and I've not had a single doubt since
