Average Time Spent Together?

So, I am just wondering what the average amount of time with your SO has been...because I feel like my SO and I have spent quite a bit more time together than most LDRs and we're currently going through our longest time apart and it's been...rough.


So list the amount of time you've been in a relationship: 1 year 8 months

Amount of Trips Taken: 12

Miles/Hours Apart: Almost 4000miles

Average Length of Stay: Most of them have been long weekend trips, 3 week long ones, 1 was over a month.

P.S. Folks I don't recommend long weekend Euro trips. Pretty sure I have forever ruined my internal clock. (T'was worth it though)

Miles/Hours Apart: ~5000mi.
Average Length of Stay: A month, but summer is looking like it will be two months to two and a half.

So list the amount of time you've been in a relationship: We were together for a year and four months close distance, broke up for a little bit around the time that I moved for college, been back together for almost 3 months long distance.

Amount of Trips Taken: 2 (I leave for my third tomorrow!).

Miles/Hours Apart: 1100 miles.

Average Length of Stay: He came here for a week in October; I was there for four days for Thanksgiving. The trip I leave for tomorrow morning will be a month. So I guess it really varies. He lives in my home state and I'm in college so the determining factor is school vacations.

Been Together: 2 and a half years
Number of Trips: One. He came out here. He will be here for the 2nd time in april! (well march 31st)
Miles/Hours Apart: 4000+ miles away. He's 8 hours ahead of me
Average Length of Stay: We have only had one visit together and it was about 2 months total. Can't wait for this year to start! We plan to spend 6-9 months together. Possibly, we'll see how it goes.

His next visit should hopefully be in the first half of 2012, and he should be staying here for at least a year, and during that year he's going to apply for permanent residency.

Average Length of Stay: We met and began dating CD, when he was here for a few months. We've been dating since late August, and he just flew back to the US last week. Does that count as a "stay"?

time you've been in a relationship: we started dating in 27 of december of 2008, became officially boyfriend and girlfriend on 26 of january of 2009.

We will get married 26 of january of 2012, on our 3 years anniversary.

And now, that I will be there forever, I have to start counting my trips to Brazil instead.

Miles/Hours Apart: If I would get straight flights, non-stop, plus the car ride... around 18 hours appart. 5 or 6 hours difference (deppending if Germany is on summer time or not)

Him- first time: 11 days. second time: 11 days as well.

We have since closed the distance, but before that we were apart for a year and a half, with a one month visit during the summer. Don't worry, it's normal to struggle if you're not use to being apart for so long.

Number of trips taken: Too many to count... 20 maybe?
Miles apart: 600 (I think it's 600 miles? 900something kilometres)
Average length of stay: It really depends. Most trips are long weekend trips only, but the first half of this year I was able to go over a week each month and there were a few 1month+ visits as well.

We've been together two years.

Time spent apart - 10 months

Time spent together - 14 months

We've never had short visits, all of our time together has been because we either lived in the same place or he quit his job in hopes of getting a visa but didn't so he spent 5 months with me and my family. The shortest period together was two weeks when we very first met. Then it was three months and five months together and now our longest 6 months but we've closed the distance, hopefully for good minus when visas run out.

We're pretty much together for 4 weeks and then apart for 6 weeks. So we're together around 40% of the year.

Trips taken : Him - 2 , me - 5 (and im going over there tomorrow!! for a month xD)

Miles/hours apart : just over 5,000 miles, 8 hour time difference

Average length of stay : shortest 1 month, longest 2 months.

When i put it like that it really isnt too bad. We tend to have a visit at least every 3 months. Probably gonna be less after this trip though. Not sure whether i'll see him till the summer after this trip although i may visit (or vice versa) at Easter for a couple of weeks. He's thinking about coming over here from May then i go back with him in the summer (around july) till september. Then a year more (approx) of LD till i get my visa xD Although that last year is gonna be a pain...i wont be able to see him that often at all : (
