Age difference

I'm older by about five months (to be exact: five months, one week, one day).

And yes, I do joke that I'm currently "older" than him. (I turned 26 in January, he turns 26 in July.)

I'm 2 years and a month older than him. the only reason it feels like a lot is that I'm 22 and he'll just be turning 20 in a few days so he's still not even legal in the US! :P but he's really mature so it doesn't matter at all personally.

My SO is 3.5 years older than me. Im 17 this year in June, he turned 20 in January. Now he has hit 20 its quite funny to tease him about the fact he is half way to 40!

I voted 1-3 year though it's not entirely correct. We were born in the same year though I was born at the very beginning of it and him at the very end, so I'm 11 months older.

Needless to say, I really cherish that month or so every year when we're the exact same age :P

oh blimey, seeing everyones repsonses here jsut empahsizes our difference all the more. my BF is 15 years older than me. I thought he was late 20s but it wasn't until my 30yr old flat mate enquired that the truth was revealed but by tht point i was in love so it didn't matter. he hides it well, though i tease by saying i can see grey hairs!!

such a age gap has its pros and cons; pros such as he can show me some cool music n films i never would have know bout otherwise, hes mature and knows the value of honesty and love. cons -isn't as spontaneous as i'd like, espech when it comes to me wanting to holiday with him as he's seen all he wants to already.

forgot to add- i'm 24... which makes him 39. am already planning in secret his big 4-0 party for next year!

He's 9 months older than me. I voted 1 year because we were born in different years so on paper it looks like he's a year older.

This is the smallest age difference I had yet, in long term relationships. My 1st bf was 2 years older and my 2nd was 4 years my senior.

When you meet the right person then age is just a number. It doesn't bother me at all....i look and act younger and he is an old soul. It works well for us
