So he still hadn't heard so he sent a follow up email to the HR manager thanking her for her help and time. She responded back as follows (they have a good rapport and have become friendly):
"I heard the meeting went really well and your P&L assessment was terrific. thank you so much for working with us and all the traveling you have done. We will be in touch with you shortly. YOU ROCK!"

I agree with you! I think that's like a "wink wink" via email! Hopefully she is trying to tell him that he got it without saying so many words! I hope it won't take much longer until the official word is in.Our love story:
