I honestly feel more lost now i'm 30 than when I was 25 haha, I guess, on the bright side, people keep telling me I don't look my age... theythink I'm 21

Ha! I get that too... everyone thinks I'm in my early 30s... good genes maybe?

I think at these ages we start to accept how much we really don't know yet when at 21 we thought we knew it all.

i'm not legally over 30, but 28 and 3/4 is close enough, right? and my SO is 31.
it also feels a bit redundant with the large amount of posts about college/parents/ petty issues and i feel like i don't fit in much, so i just come in to check on the people i've known for quite a while here

Sounds a bit like me. I'm turning 28 in four days, and my SO will be 31 in five days.

33 here, SO is 45 . we both joined recently. Some stuff is hard to relate too, but we have gotten so much out of this site already , very happy to be here. I expect we will spend more time in the area then others, but glad there are so many folks in this subforum

OK, now I am in the right forum! So, as I said, I am 45 and well Trepis is 33 . Honestly it took me a bit to get used to the idea of dating someone younger but I am ok with it now. But I still hate the term "cougar", sounds like a damn predator. I have two grown children and he has none and we do not plan on having any! Made sure to clear that up right away...

Hello all! I'm 35 and my SO is 21. Took me a long time to get used to the idea of being with someone younger than me but I know we are meant to be and age is really just a number and he's an old soul. Glad to have this thread. Thanks for doing it.

I think I still have you all beat lol I hate the term cougar too but my SO loves teasing me about it. I think men that are attracted to older women just know what they want without the drama

You know... an age gap forum would be awesome too. Usually age gap is defined as anything 10 years or more difference in age

Yup, I'd still be in here. I have noticed through my travels there seems to be a few of us in the 10+ year age gap (be it older or younger partners). Would give those of us with the age gaps somewhere to relate with each other on that level. I'm not leaving here just because I think an age gap forum would be a good idea
