My boyfriend and I have promise rings that we have given on another.
It is to promise that we will be faithful to each other and we arent gonna let the distance keep us from being together.

Thanks, yes my ring means so much too me! I like never take it off, except in ceramics class, i dont want clay to get in the crevasses

No, we don't, but that's probably because we're 39 & 40, promise rings seem to be more for younger people I think. Yours is very pretty, it must make you happy every time you look at it

Guess me and my SO skipped that (mostly since promise rings are not really used in either Denmark or Japan), so I have an engagement ring instead.
