I am ALWAYS fantasizing about our future. We both joke about how our kids are going to be spoiled rotten or when we hear something in the news that irritates us about schools or the ways kids treat each other, we plan ways to keep our children hidden indoors forever lol I am definitely the one that dreams about the wedding more. He is only interested in the cake part (for now). Once we actually start planning then I know for a fact that he'll be more active in thinking about it.
My SO use to want to be an architect. He dreams about our future house and we definitely talk about decor. If we are ever out at Target or a furniture store is nearby where we are, we'll pick different pieces and explain what we do or don't like about them, where we would put them in the house, etc. I love it so much

yeah all the time talking about how we're going to have kids, our own house and spend the rest of our lives together is the best thing ever! even though it can be kinda silly sometimesClose together or far apart, you're forever in my heart.

I've already started my future with my SO It feels so great to have all of those years of dreaming about living together, imagining being engaged, and thinking about all of the things we would be able to do when we were CD again come to fruition. September was a good month for us between getting engaged on the 8th and moving in together on the 19th <3
It can happen ladies and gents. Keep your eyes on the prize.

Yes, I do fantasize about it. One step at a time, but we talk about our future quite a bit, especially here lately. I have basically told him that if circumstances were different and I lived up there now and he asked me to marry him, my answer would be yes. There's no way I could or would or even should say no to him asking such a question. He laughed because it felt good to hear.candi ❤ austin

I have definitely thought about things I want to do next semester and next summer. He's talked about staying in the town our college is in after he graduates (next fall or spring, depending on how his classes line up, which means he'd be done a year to a year and a half before me) in order to stay close to me. I'm too much of a pessimistic realist to think much beyond that.

We have in the past (though no kids) and now that we've closed distance and things are much more day to day routine, we still do to a point. We are careful to not talk about marriage yet... but we do talk about buying land, furniture we want, things we want to do together. We talked about marriage before I moved and I don't think that's off the table, but now that the distance is not there anymore we slowed down a bit and are focused more on just building a life together. It makes me really happy when he starts talking about the future and making plans for us... it's a good feeling
I do admit to feeling a guilty pleasure when I sign his crebit card receipts with my initial (we are both "D") and his last name thoughThree words. Fill my racing mind. Leave me breathless. Lost in time.
Three words. Fill my endless dreams. Repair my heart. Mend the seams.
Three words. Fill your heart too. Three words pronounced. I love you.
~~~~~~
You look in the mirror, you don't like what you see, don't believe it.
Look in my eyes, I am the only mirror you're ever gonna need.
I don't allow myself to daydream about the details. The moment my imagination starts running away with me I stop it in its tracks. I don't want to let myself picture the cottage in the countryside with the coloured roses around the door, nor the tiered cake with the sugarpaste bride and groom toppers, nor the faces of the small children capering about the sunlit kitchen on a weekend morning. I can't think about it at length, because I want fantasy to become reality so badly that I don't dare to build up my hopes that high...
All.the.freaking.time!
We've picked out the names for our children already and I can't wait for them to correct my Polish pronounciation. The day they first do that, I know I'll have succeeded. I've always wanted bilingual children. We always discuss how we'll bring them up and what kind of rules we'll have as well. And that we prefer wooden toys over plastic ones.
My boyfriend, of course, wants a model railway (he's studying railway engineering) through the whole place and I'm going to be ashamed of it and hide from our friends, because I don't want them to know how big a nerd he really is. And he's going to pretend that it's for the kids, but he won't let them play with it, because they might break it. We're also going to get a dog and call him Marta because of Martha Speaks , which we watch religiously (the dubbed Polish version).
And our wedding! We'll send out small phrasebooks with the invitations (just some basic things like "I really shouldn't have any more vodka." or "how do you know them?" or whatever) and everyone having a great time and dancing to terrible music. Oooh and our honeymoon to Iceland.
♥ Być tam, zawsze tam, gdzie Ty. ♥
I try not to because we are so young (I'm 18, he's 21) and although we are very serious about each other, we are still not really in a position to consider things like that at this point in time. That doesn't mean I don't sometimes, but I hate to set myself for possible disappointment.
I imagine my future with him in the next couple of years, but I try not to get carried away with fantasies of marriage and definitely not kids (kids is an issue for me, so I try not to think about it anyway). However, we have briefly discussed it and our personal expected timelines for ourselves match up pretty well, so that's good at least
