How did you feel the first time you got a package?

This is pretty much a question for internet relationships who have not/did not when you first got one in person couples. Feel free to reply even if you had met in person too, not leaving anyone out!

I got my first package from HBB (funny since he will be here in a week!) today and when I opened it and pulled out his shirt....the feeling was indescribable. I wanted to cry, scream, laugh and a myriad of other things all at once. To love someone for months yet never touch a single thing they had, to not know what they smell like...I didn't realize until I got his things just how much I craved it.

He sent me so much too! A small little pillow he made when he was 14 with his initials on it, a hoodie and hat from his uni days, a shirt he wore, his first wallet (so freaking cute and so him, its the tasmanian devil on the outside with a small scooby doo mystery machine keychain attached) with 40 bucks in it, a sweet letter and TONS of candy. I was so amazed by how much it all meant to me, and I find myself unable to stop cuddling with his cushion.

So i wondered, how did you feel when you got your first package from your SO?

I was wholly and completely overwhelmed with happy. These wonderful fuzzy happy feelings that were almost uncontainable. I still snuggle with the huge doggy he sent me (use her as a pillow, haha) and love smelling the card he spritzed with his cologne; I found a way to preserve it by keeping it tucked tight in the envelope unless I want to read/sniff it! The chocolates have all been eaten by me and family, of course, but I've kept everything down to every last scrap of wrapping... I've even kept the box it was sent in, which is huge so it + the surrounding paper have been tucked under my bed.

I know he was insanely excited the first time I sent him a homemade card and sweet letter inside it... It was before we were dating but it was the first homemade thing he'd ever received! It's a Christmas card and he's had it on display since it arrived. xD He's also kept every scrap of packaging and is in love with the stuffed doggy I most recently sent. I also have him sitting on something he's not supposed to open until the 8th (our 6 month). :P

I remember getting my first package from him. I was sooooo excited! He had asked me to let him see me when i opened it. So i recorded and made a video. I remember getting it, and not caring to get fixed up before making the vid because i was impatient and wanted to hurry and open it. I thought it was just going to be the shirt i asked him to send me and maybe a letter. But he also had printed out and sent me my favourite pictures of him! I was so happy i nearly cried, got all teary and just was so happy that day. And I loved having his shirt, and his scent. We hadn't met yet so it was a way to feel close, lol i was kinda weird, i like just smelled his shirt lolz no but then for awhile id use it as a pillow case to sleep with. Mhmm love having little reminders of him.
      I love you Nathan <3

Well, he is in a band and I bought a band tshirt off him before we had anything going on, but by the time it arrived I had a huge crush on him. I got weirdly excited about his handwriting on the envelope, haha! Sadly it didn't have his smell because he never wore it of course but I'll see him in 3 days anyway! Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

The first package I got from him was actually for my birthday He had actually sent me a facebook message on the day it had arrived saying "if the package arrives early you must somehow find the will power resist opening it.."

          Well, that didn't happen.

Since my birthday is on February 12th he had also sent me a picture he drew of me asking to be my valentine which I adore! anyway, in the package was, captain crunch cereal (I was obsessed with it back in 08), a card with a letter, tea bags (He is English and finds it very weird that I don't like the taste of tea and has been trying to change my mind ever since ) and a bracelet

When he sent me that package we weren't actually together at that point but I remember after opening it freaking out because I knew that I was falling in love with him and it was a scary/amazing feeling.

Well the last guy I dated before Rane, sent me a package for my birthday. About a month late. We were fairly new in the relationship. It was a dvd of him, *enjoying* himself. The dvd even cut out and was scratched. No card, no note. I was not impressed. To say the least.

Oh LORD Garnet, that is too funny. It reminds me of this https://www.funnyordie.com/videos/67...men-everywhere

If only that PSA was not so true, the amount of unsolicited wiener I have seen in my day is just horrifying. LOL.

Anyways :P Yea, when I got it I pretty much felt this amazing sensation deep in my belly...almost like severe nerves but more pleasant. I think it was my hormones reacting to his pheromones with a resounding "YES PLEASE!". I am currently sitting here watching Army Wives cuddling his pillow. In about a hour I will be going to bed, if he doesn't call me and distract me with his hot accent and gravely morning voice, I will be going to sleep clutching his pillow to me and hoping to dream of him

OMG I should have been in that video! Are you a gamer? I played wow, and the quantity of man bits that came through my email or via text is mind boggling.

I am! I also am a member of a Star Wars roleplaying community and the amount of men that seem to think that just because I am a cute girl that I somehow WANT to see their dangly bits in stunning full color HD popping up on my iPhone is ridonkulous. I don't think when Steve Jobs created the iPhone that he had that in mind to utilize his technology!

Its funny because that is how I met HBB, through that site. However, he was the brit with the ever ready quip on the end of his tongue and he was the only one NOT chasing me. So, it worked out! Men just gotta grasp the concept that women like being appreciated, but we don't like them acting like that creepy dude at the bar who 'accidentally' brushes his junk against your leg. LOL :P

The first package that I ever got from him was supposed to be for Christmas. However, it was month late. I remember going to the post office during my lunch break from my student teaching orientation. I couldn't leave it there because it was so big so I had to take it with me. Luckily, I had a huge handbag that day otherwise I would've had to carry the box around with me all day. I was so happy with what he sent because he picked it all out especially for me with some of my favorite things from England. All of my friends there were so happy for me. It's one of my favorite memories.

my bf hasn't sent me anything yet- although I have sent him a package already. I think if he sent me something it would just send me over the moon. I don't think he's the kind of guy who would send me one though.

The first package he sent me contained a "kit" to learn Farsi, which included 5 lesson+exercise books, audio CDs and a language learning software called Rosetta Stone. When I received the package I couldn't stop smiling to myself and I could feel this endless happiness spreading to the smallest particles of my body. I still keep the address pasted on top of the package because he wrote it and I think his handwriting is so cute. As soon as I opened it I immediately installed the software on my lappy and started learning.
It's so good knowing how much support he has been giving me in learning his language.

Oh! I get the address thing. I got the package a couple hours before he could get online and watch me open it on Skype. I spent those hours running my fingertips over his handwriting on the box for what seemed like hundreds of times. Just seeing his chcken scratch made my heart go flippy floppy

I actually cannot remember the first package from my SO - we sent quite a few! But I always get super happy and cannot wait to open it! I love receiving her packages in the mail. It's really something to look forward to.
