Sleeping Together

Me and my SO fall asleep with the cams on everynight....As crazy as it might sound but i sleep better some nights knowing he is still on cam....Although I always pass out on him everytime LOL....But nothing beats cuddling in person <3

yes i've watched him fall asleep on his lunch brake, n we have fall asleep on the phone togehter many times

I've definitely fallen asleep on the phone. Apparently a week ago, he called me while I was already in bed and tried to talk to me because I picked up.
Then I asked him to sing me a lullaby and when he finished I was out.
He told me the next morning because I had completely forgotten about it.

The other day my SO watched me as I took an afternoon nap (I think it was Saturday). He's watched me sleep a few times. I don't know what he sees in it but what harm can it do?

This thread made me realise how lucky I am. Our skype is on any time we are both home. All night every night. Its habit for both of us just to arrive home and log on then carry on with our days. He is 6 hours behind me so I do tend to go to sleep before him but often he is still awake at midnight when I get up for work at six. I call to wake him for work , usually from my work, but whats really funny is when I call from home and watch as he groggily pulls himself from sleep and starts talking to me on the phone before he wakes up enough to realise the laptop is right beside him.

We did that for the first time last night, and we loved it(: So we're gonna do it more often. We both hate sleeping alone when we wanna fall asleep in each other's arms so badly every night, so this helps(:

My SO and I just started doing this occasionally, although it's a pain in the butt to have a bright light shining in my face when I'm trying to sleep and I can't see him at all at night cuz he's too far away from the computer to see, it's nice when I wake up I can watch him for a bit. And sometimes it leads to a good morning conversation over cam till he leaves for work which is always a plus.

I'd love to be able to do this more often but because of the time difference between my SO and I it's hard to do it on the weekdays. He sleeps at 2000, which is 1800 my time and I am just getting off work at that hour. However, my SO and I did tried this over the weekend and it actually feels really good hearing his breathing through my headset as i fall asleep. i went out last night and left my skype on the entire night so i can "sleep with him" when i come home. i got in really late and since he's 2 hours ahead, he was just waking up. we talked for a bit and i fell asleep as he watched me. i thought it would be awkward having someone watch me sleep but it was anything but!

i love that feeling and wish we'll be able to do this every weekend.

it's hard for my SO and I to do this, because when I'm going to sleep it's the middle of the afternoon for him. :P and when it's bedtime for him, I'm just waking up! there have been a few times when we've briefly fallen asleep together on cam, which was nice, but we only tried once for me to fall asleep for the night (and he would hang up when he had to get up for class or something) and it ended up just annoying me. haha. it was nice seeing him, but the light from the laptop was bothering me, and the fact that I could hear cars and birds and stuff coming through on his end was distracting. :P oh well! it'll just be nice to sleep together again for real.

I have a MacBook and while I enjoy skyping with my SO, I hate falling asleep with the lights on becaus it bugs me. But when I turn the lights off, it's too dark to Skype... Any advice on how I can set the laptop light setting where I can see see the screens even with the lights off?

If my and my SO are not already on either skype or oovoo we get on for a least a few mins everynight before bed to see eachother and then switch to just a voice call so nobody has to worry about lights keeping anyone up. This way we get to still go to bed together. Works for us maybe try that and see if it works for you guys. Good luck!

No problem Jgui glad to help. I love it. I can't imagine going to bed without him now. It's one of the greatest comforts to know anytime either of us wakes up we are right there.
