Despite being hugely outgoing and a natural performer I get shy singing infront of my SO. Although we sing together all the time, generally really loud and goofy and to soundtracks like Rocky Horror Picture Show.
He on the other hand plays guitar and writes songs. So he sings to me all the time. When I was here in the summer we recorded them and I put them on my iPod so I could listen to him when we were apart.Tea and hugs make the world go round - don't ever discount the little things in life.
Smiling away to oneself brings an obscene amount of joy when only you know the reason why your smiling. Pick something secret to smile about and let it light up your face all day long!
And remember....Love really IS all around.

Actually, that's how we became friends.
we met at band camp and he was the lead singer of my band's friendly-rival(i played guitar. i CAN NOT sing to save my life XD). after camp, we were talking on facebook and he talked me into singing for him. we became friends and started dating about 6 months later =]
I think you should sing to your SO at least once, no matter how bad you are. it's personal and fun =]

Yeah we totally sing to each other all the time. Neither of us have particularly nice singing voices so i doubt id ever record it and upload to youtube but its something we have done even when we were just friends. My SO has an earlier start than i do so he often falls asleep before i do, he asked me the other night to sing him while we were on cam and he was falling asleep.. the only thing i could think of was Kylie Especially For You haha. Not my usual tastes but it made us both giggle anyway :P
And he sings to me in the car, or on the phone.. anywhere really

Hey y'all.
New to the site... Here getting help in areas I struggle with my recently started LDR. Glad to see others struggle too btw
Anyway, as for singing - HECK YES!! When my love was here with me, we used to sing at the top of hearts together in the car any chance we could... Of course I had never really sang to her without the radio volume at max levels, BUT I was recently struggling with what the heck I could do for (our first) Valentines Day for my love when we now have 10,000 miles between us. I came back to thinking of us jamming out together in the car (something we obviously can't do for now), so I decided to do this for her... (Her and I's favorite song we stumbled upon right before she left for studying abroad - lyrics were perfect for us)
I'm not gonna lie, I was really hesitant and embarrassed on doing this because I had never done anything like it before... BUT she's my sweetheart, and I decided getting ripped on by my buddies who saw it was something I was willing to deal with, because I wanted her to know I'm right here waiting for her and love her more than anything!
Obviously we're struggling with the new adjustments or I wouldn't have stumbled upon this website for help, but I can tell you from experience that singing sure didn't hurt matters by any means!
Best of luck!

All the time! ^^ I find karaoke on YT and record songs for him. Sometimes they're serious and love-y, other times I'm just messing around and being silly. He keeps them and shares some of them with his family. There's one he really likes and put it as his ringtone for me. I haven't really sung anything for him live on Skype. When we watch tv series I'll sing the intros, but after awhile of hearing them over and over again I'll add some silly words and inside jokes hehe. We've also got our own little bedtime song we sing to each other. ^^

I have sung for my boyfriend a few times. I've written a couple songs for him too. I'm no rock star or anything, but I play a little guitar and have dabbled in writing. He really seems to appreciate it, not so much for my singing, which is bearable at it's best, but because I take the time to do it. I'm still trying to get him to sing for me, but he says he'd need a LOT of alcohol first haha. I have caught him rapping some Snoop Dogg for me though. How romantic, right? ;-)

I sing to my SO most of the time. I know singing to her makes her happy and smile. Sometimes I just record me singing and send it to her. So when she arrives home from school she gets a song and message. She loves it.
