My SO likes to pretend to know how to rap. But the other day he sent me a recording of himself singing. It was really cute, and except for a few squeaky parts, very good. I sing a little bit, so he wants to learn how to play an instrument so we can sing and play together.

We also have songs we like to sing together too, from the radio.

Oh yeah, we've sung to each other a lot. We're both very musical (he's a guitar and singing pro and was in bands, I was at the Conservatory of Music) and that was how we started really bonding together. I still have the first song he ever sang for me on my computer and listen to it regularly. It gives me the warm and fuzzies. I'm trying to get him to geek it up with me and record a cheesy song for Christmas together.

I think the only song I've sung to him from start to finish is Happy Birthday.. and that's pretty much it XD

Yeah ^.^ He is Mexican and makes fun of my accent when I speak Spanish. However, apparently I lose my accent when I sing for him :P

My SO says the same thing! He can't believe how good my Spanish is when singing. Talking is evidently a whole other ball game...

My SO and I sing to each other all the time. We make up really stupid songs all the time. His is usually about how he wants to grab my ass. Neither of us are any good at singing, but it's funny.

when he finds my guitar, he pretends to seranade me. pretending, as in going "this song is for you. LAAALAAALAAAALAAAAA" with his face all scrunched up and strumming the guitar (he doesnt know how to play)

Yes. He's asked me to sing for him before over the phone. Usually when he's sleepy or vulnerable or upset or such... I often hum nonsense to myself or quietly sing whatever is stuck in my head. He really likes that. I like singing. He can't carry a tune in a bucket, but it's cute when he tries

When I'm feeling particularly stressed and need to relax and my SO is available I get him to sing to me. It really does calm me down. There have been times where I've fallen asleep to him singing.

No, he's never sung to me, nor I to him, but he did write a song for me on the Hammered Dulcimer! It's so pretty and sweet!

He sings to me almost every time we chat on Skype. Usually he sings silly songs that he can make up himself on the dot, using melodies from popular songs. Other times, he will sing sweet songs. I don't sing to him as much as he does to me, but he tries to coax me to sing along with him.
