Sleeping together....

My boyfriend goes to bed much earlier than I do every night, and not because of a time difference - we're just on different internal clocks I guess! After seeing this thread, I thought that it would be a fantastic idea. At least I'd be entertained while he's being satisfied with sleep! So I suggested it to him and he told me it was creepy, and that I was weird. ): Well what the heck. Then stay up and talk to me ya jerk!

I'm definitely going to push this idea though, and convince him it's not so creepy... even if it is a bit Edward Cullen-esque (ew, no offense). He looks adorable when he's sleeping. ;^;

My SO and i usually fall asleep talking on the phone with each other. I generally go to be earlier than him because of my crazy work schedule. But sometimes when we are on skype we do fall asleep on there together. It's really cute and i love falling asleep with him.

Kristin and i enjoy doing this. It lets us feel allot closer with me being clear on the opposite side of the world. And it gives me a chance to see our puppy and have watch her.

Me and my SO sleep with our cams on everynight...It does help both of us out alot with the distance and not being there in person next to eachother every night sleeping...I love it when he watches me sleep. To me its very realxing and peaceful...

Me and my SO also do this every night. It definitely helps with the distance, and I have horrible dreams so it's also comforting to have him just right through my screen. I think we've only gone a few nights without doing it (when arguing or when he's away) and it just feels so awful without him right there. My mom will joke around in the morning saying that my SO scares her and she thinks that someone is in the house because she can hear him through the computer once he wakes up in the morning haha. Safe to say that my laptop rarely gets turned off.

Melvin and I do this every single night, whenever we cannot we at least call each other right before sleeping so we can help each other =/ We've done it for 4 years so we are kind of attatched to it XD so we both have troubles sleeping when we don't XD though we have a time difference of 7 hours XD he wakes up when i am sleeping and when i have nightmares i call him and manage to fall back asleep n_n its totally lovely, actually i'm seeing him sleeping right now n_n and i better go to sleep as well xD in Mexico it's 1 am xD and if he sees i'm still awake he will get mad XD because i have school later today =3 good night everyone

we do this every night!!! it just feels so good!

just the time difference is a bit of a problem, because when I'm going to sleep (normally) he is still at work, but he'll wake me up when he gets home, so I can sleep the rest of the night with him..
also he normally goes to sleep before I wake up, so we have maybe 1 or 2 hours when we're really sleeping together, at the same time!!!
then I have to get up..

but I love it! I wouldn't miss it for anything!

Wish I could do this but like I said before we dont even skype because of his lack of computer. I really love seeing him sleep though, its so peaceful, intimate, comforting. One time we were on Xbox live and he switched on his little camera. He was exhausted and ended up falling asleep. And I loved it, I just watched him breathe, it was like I was there. My mom happened to walk by my room and see him on the TV and she totally thought I was being creepy, lol.

I don't remember when it started but Tony and I have been sleeping together on skype for the most part of our relationship. There was a time that he had to sleep with his head by the foot board because he didn't have the USB extension cable yet.
Even if I am +15 hours ahead of him, I am thankful that with running work from the home I can easily work my schedule around his availability.
I am usually anticipating when he gets home. We talk for an hour and nap together. I get up and do whatever I have to do and sleep with Tony again. He
wakes me up before he goes to work. We have had so many funny and sweet conversations while we are both sleepy or just one.
I find that I sleep better when I can hear him breathing.. snoring.. chirping.. anything.
I know I wake myself up when I have a loud snore LOL He doesn't seem to mind. <3

My girlfriend Beth and I started doing this a few months ago after she finally convinced me to give it a try. It's really soothing to hear her sleep sometimes while I'm still awake, and it's always nice to wake up in the morning and see the skype call still on (:

We do this as well. It is pretty cool to have her watch me sleep, get some sweet messages then wake up to her sleeping and reply.

Nice to know that I'm not the only one who enjoys doing this! My boyfriend actually started doing this by accident. We were having our first movie date watching (my fav Queen of The Damned) and I was snoring like a grizzly. That was a year ago. lol And although we have moved from skype to Oovoo mainly for our video calls now, I can barely sleep without him being on a call with me at night anymore. I think it's a very cute thing.
