Lol it is. I'm actually glad I found someone like me who is in a relationship with someone in the same country, especially the UK.

I'm on the coach to see him as we speak. Couple more hours to go. Megabus is definitely better than national express in my opinion. Yup can't wait :-)

My fiance has been using megabus since 2012 to visit me from the Netherlands. They've been a godsend with the cheap fares and they're far more efficient at solving problems. When there were problems at Calais due to the storm a few years ago in February, they were quick to put him on the next connecting bus to get to Plymouth from London for free.

It was my first time with them and really the main thing for me was the seats. They are awful on national express. I had a much more comfortable journey and I actually slept for a bit.

Yup it was. I am definitely making the most of it! He's at work right now but he'll be done in an hour and we can get back to just being together. I'm treasuring every moment. Waking up next to him is just amazing.

There's tons more leg room. Sometimes my fiance has such a long nap on the megabus (he usually travels for 22 hours on them) so he tends to nap for 2 hours every half hour to an hour, that I have to miscall him to wake him up xD On some trips in the UK, Megabus actually does an overnight bus where you can sleep on actual proper beds but it depends on the journey. I'm pretty sure on Megabus Gold too, just for a little extra you get free refreshments too which is nice because no one wants to be forking out for food before hand just for it to go off whilst travelling.

national express is great from what ive heard from my SO he travelled on three individual coaches in 6 hours to get to me for boxing day, the journey was perfectly arranged by the company giving him plenty of time in between each one making sure even if there would be traffic it'd would still be okay

                          sleepable

                          cheap as well

Unfortunately for me it did not run so smoothly. He dumped me on friday afternoon before he even travelled down.
