we were dating a couple of weeks, but well there were always people with us..
so for our "first" date he took me to a restaurant then to the movies and then we went on a hill where there was this beautiful skyline which was just amazing to see it by night.

We went to get coffee and then we went to this little crafty store in town. The best part is my SO doesn't remember what one we did first and always argues with me about it. It's so cute. too bad i'm right

We went to the movies and saw Shutter Island. It was pouring rain and I had to drive to get him - kind of scary! Then the next weekend we went to church together, which helped to win my dad over :P

Well we spent the first two days together with my mom, so we dont count that as official "date" When I asked him, our first official date he would say is when he came to my town, was the next day, and we went out. We went to this little restaurant called strings, and he took me out. He has pasta and I had soup, and we went to where he was staying before that to check him in, and we just spent the time me and him before my aunt came and picked us up. Lol also a cute moment, saw my baby make a mess with just a little bit of icecream lol
              I love you Nathan <3

We were CD at the time and our first official date was at a place called Franco's Pizza. It sounds really weird, but I remember exactly what shirt I was wearing. Too bad I have no idea where it is now :-(

Ahhh I love first dates!!! Haha, my SO and I have been "officially" together from the moment we started dating, so our first date was the day I met him. We met in the lunch line at my international student orientation, and he invited me to join them (all these factors play into "it's fate" thing, like he never goes to that place on campus, and I switched lines randomly/chose to ditch some friends to take a chance on his invitation to join him and his friend), so I did. I remember him and I chattering away about Irish slang while his friend sat awkwardly with his drink... Stephen invited me out for coffee later that day, and because I had mentioned I wanted to be a writer, he took me to this really artsy, cozy pub called Neachtains (SERIOUSLY go there if you go to Ireland), and we didn't part till 3:30 that morning.

I specifically remember the moment I decided I wanted to see where this led--we were talking about the happiest moment of our lives thus far, and he was describing this moment of complete, existential felicity when he was in India, and my heart melted, and I put my hand on his knee (he later told me his heart jumped ), and we kissed...and we chatted till the pub closed, and went back to his place, and I danced to Michael Jackson, and...well, you know... ^_~

He's the best chance I've ever taken.

Our first date was at a local water park called Hurricane Harbor. We were not official at the time, but it was fun to flirt around putting on each other's sunscreen and riding the raft rides together. We both burnt our feet off that day but it was the best time I ever had at that water park.

Wait, timeout, are you talking about St. Louis, MO Hurricane Harbor at Six Flags??? Because I love love LOVE that place, and I'm from St. Louis, and the Big Kahuna is the essence of existence (in my opinion :P). So cute, though!!

Our first date was to a small Chinese restaurant in our hometown, and then to Barnes and Noble to play with the train tables that they had there and read books in the aisles it was absolutely perfect

The first time we hung out together alone was in his dorm room. We played Assassin's Creed and I (with no shame) yelled at his TV for 4 hours. He found and still finds that priceless.

The first time we went out is when he surprised me on my 19th birthday. Long story short because of Thanksgiving break we went a week without seeing each other after we kissed for the first time and I stayed the night in his bed. We weren't official then. He came back on my birthday, showed me his new car, took me out to eat at Chili's (our first date and my first date with anyone ever), we went and got 5 dollar DVDs at WalMart, he brought me back to campus where we had cake with some of my/our friends, and then he "claimed me" for the rest of the night and while "watching" Batman Begins we became official. (Yes, I got a boyfriend for my birthday.)
". . . We obviously have to come to accept it, but that doesn't stop it from gnawing at us day by day.
The best we can do is enjoy our time together, anticipate our reunions, and remain passionate and loyal through distance." ~Mike <3

We met at Starbucks!. I hadn't heard from/of him or seen him in over 4 years, and we were just acquaintances before that, and then we randomly got in contact and decided to meet at Starbucks So, if that counts as a date, then Starbucks. If not, then downtown Ann Arbor. Fun
