One thing I really don't care for is creating duplicate thread (especially as a newbie), so if this has already been posted, someone please let me know. However, the only two threads I have seen cover this topic were "Are you attractive?" and "Is your SO the most attractive person ever?" These are not really the question I want to ask.
So without further pretense, "Is your SO considerably more attractive than you?" or "Are you considerably more attractive than your SO?"
My SO does not photograph well (I don't think I do either) and it has been about six months since we last saw each other in person. I've only kept up with him physically through pictures on Facebook and the weekend Skype chats. Anyway, last night we were talking on Skype and he was like, "I want to see you before bed." So we turned out our webcams and started...er...chatting. Before we logged on he was complaining that he needed to shave and I was like it doesn't matter. But seriously, after he turned on the webcam, I was like "WOW." He's usually an attractive guy, but with a little bit of facial hair he was...gorgeous.
And I know it sounds horrible, but momentarily I was like, "Am I cute enough to be dating him?" If he knew I thought this or said this he would be both amused and angry. And I looked in in the mirror and I was like "Nah...we're pretty much on par." But I thought about it some more and realized that if he WAS model gorgeous (Old Spice Guy gorgeous) I would probably feel insecure dating him...and probably wouldn't. It's not that I need to be the pretty one in the relationship, but I never want to feel like people are like, "Why is he with her?" Does anyone get that?
1) I know that the most attractive thing about a person is their confidence. I have some friends who are not the most attractive or bigger and they pull the most intelligent and gorgeous guys left and right because they are confident in who they are. And not surprisingly, I have never thought, "Why is he with her?" Because those chicks are bad (as in great) and those guys are lucky to be with them.
2) I know that it's "what's on the inside that counts," but come on...
Ahhh...so..."Is your SO considerably more attractive than you?" or "Are you considerably more attractive than your SO?" and if so, how do you feel about it?
